Ist Erdöl ein Mineral?
Erdöl ist ein in der Erdkruste eingelagertes, hauptsächlich aus Kohlenwasserstoffen (unter anderen auch Methan) bestehendes lipophiles Stoffgemisch. Rohes Erdöl (Rohöl) stellt mit mehr als 17.000 Bestandteilen eine der komplexesten Mischungen an organischen Stoffen dar, die natürlicherweise auf der Erde vorkommen.
Was sind Mineral Fette?
Mineralöle werden aus Erdöl gewonnen, ähnlich wie Benzin oder Diesel. Sie werden natürlich viel weiter gefiltert, bis nur noch bestimmte Kohlenwasserstoffe darin enthalten sind. Es entsteht ein durchsichtiges Öl, weshalb auch von Weißöl gesprochen wird.
